Sacked Out

So our kid, after two days of high fevers and no other symptoms except for being a bit clingy, sensitive, and tearful, has slept like nobody's business. Yesterday we woke him up after 12 hours to take him to his first haircut (another blog for another day); then took him home for a nap that lasted six hours. Not to mention that we had to wake him up at hour six. He had a dazed look on his face as if he didn't know where or who he was for the first fifteen minutes or so, kinda like me on a Monday morning.

As there was no childcare in the church nursery today and Michael was ushering, I volunteered to stay home with Ollie so he could sleep off whatever is casuing his mini-comas. He slept for 16 hours, again needing to be wakened. He cried with the smallest fall, sobbed with the tiniest bump. Most of the time he played on our laps, snuggled, and watched the Vikings. Sack after sack, he sacked out on the couch.

The Vikings barely and mercifully made their win, but Oliver still cried. He went down for another nap, and an hour and a half later, he still sleeps. I am a little worried...but to tell you the truth: I just might be a little jealous.
