The Box It Came In

Everyone knows that no matter how enticing the gift is, the child will always prefer to play with the box it came in.  For Charlie, this principle can be applied to places as well.

Take, for example, our trip to Mall of America's Sea Life Aquarium this evening.  There are pillars full of jellyfish, like this:







There are tanks full of sting rays, like this:




And tunnels of exotic sea life, like this:


 
 
 
 
He thought these were pretty great, but got more excited by emergency exit doors, fire extinguishers, alarm pulls...





Who needs sharks and 80-year-old turtles when you can touch a real live exit sign, anyway?
